Who Am I?
My website address is: https://www.stevejakeway.uk.
What personal data is collected and why.
When visitors leave comments on the site the data collected is shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
When you complete the contact form from this site no data is collected until the send button is clicked. The form then sends me an email with all the data you supplied in the various fields as well as informs me as to whether you opted in or out of receiving emails about my product updates and/or if you wish to receive the occasional newsletter email from me. I will retain this information for as long as reasonably required so I can contact you, or know not to contact you (depending on how you opted to receive info from me).
If you leave a comment on my site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, the site will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How we protect your data
We currently do not have any formal process to protect your data other than keeping the content management system and plugins up-to-date to prevent hackers obtaining access to this site.
What data breach procedures we have in place
If I should become aware of any data breach through the spam filters in place on this site then I will contact the hosting company for advice on how to lock-down the site to minimise and contain the breach. I will then attempt to find out what, if any, data has been obtained. All individuals who have had data stolen from the site during such a breach will be notified by email.
