This is one of my early oils and is in my private collection. I have dedicated this to my father-in-law, Keith Goddard who loved Beer. We spent many mornings enjoying a full english on the matted cobbles outside the beach food huts here.

You can probably imagine then how devastated I was when this painting was returned to me from a private exhibition in Montpellier, Cheltenham, with a bloody gash in it! I have made a repair to the damage by gluing a canvas patch to the back, and am in the process of hiding the damage by painting in another buoy and rusty anchor.
